SmartAdhesives founders Bong Suh (left) and Junho Suh From today’s Examiner.com Company Spotlight on the story of SmartAdhesives:

SmartAdhesives grew from the combination of Bong’s e-commerce expertise and his father Junho Suh’s fifty plus years of experience manufacturing and selling adhesives.

That’s a great description of the background of the company’s founders. Experience matters because our entire business is built around making sure customers of all sizes can research and buy the right specialty adhesive.

More important to our customers, of course, are the direct benefits, captured elsewhere in the profile:

The plan was to provide a platform for easy, online ordering, direct from the manufacturer with no middle man and no minimum purchase size.

Our site at Adhesive.com delivers on those goals, and we’re working to make it better every day.

If you have any questions about adhesives — or anything else in the article — please give us a call or send an email.

Today’s New York Times article New York’s Car Registration Stickers Don’t Stick details the frustrations of millions of NY drivers faced with stickers that don’t stick. Someone made an adhesive mistake, and the registration or inspection stickers come off. Hate to see things come unglued!

The press release from the New York State DMV in May included this suggestion:

DMV is suggesting that customers reaffix any defective sticker to the vehicle with transparent tape or other adhesive.

May I suggest P2 Permanent PermaTack, a permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive?

While a quart is more than most drivers need, let me encourage sharing the remaining adhesive with other drivers unlucky enough to have this problem. Pay it forward. P2 PermaTack adhesive, 1 quart

There’s a lot to more say about adhesives, serious and otherwise. But let’s start with a laugh, since we know adhesives is not the easiest word to type or spell.
